Dr. Hudson brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Marriage Recovery Center, having been involved in counseling professions, teaching, and ministries for over 35 years.

Doctorate in Professional Counseling, Capella University | Master’s in Professional Counseling, American Schools of Professional Psychology | Bachelor’s in Social Psychology, Park University
After 25 years of service in the military, Dr. Hudson into private practice counseling while also teaching for colleges and universities. His clinical experience includes working with patients at the Veteran Affairs Hospital and other healthcare systems. In his current practice, Dr. Hudson’s focus is marriage & family therapy.
Dr. Hudson enjoys working with individuals and couples who recognize the value of counseling and how it can facilitate better living, relationships, and personal spiritual growth. His approach to therapy is brief and solution-focused and emphasizes the strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences of the client through a collaborative model.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family and personal hobbies. He has been married to his wife, Lori, for over 40 years. They have seven wonderful children and seven grandchildren. They are very active in their church and the local community. They also love hosting individuals and families traveling from abroad or missionaries on furlough.
