Will we still get the individual attention we need in a group format?
In our work with couples over the past decade, we have found that the majority of couples struggle with very similar root issues. While the surface behaviors may look different, the core issues can absolutely be healed in a group format. In fact, we find that the group environment actually creates more accountability for change and a greater sense of community.
Is online counseling as effective as face-to-face counseling?
Yes! In our current digital age, the research is showing that counseling done over video conference is just as effective as in person. In fact, because it breaks down some of the barriers that keep people from seeking therapy, it is often even more effective as a long-term approach.
We are currently separated. Is this program still a good fit for us?
This program is actually a GREAT option for couples who are separated, as you can both join the sessions remotely.
