What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is one of the most effective treatments for recognizing and changing behavior and thought patterns.
It focuses on skills development in 4 areas:
Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation
It is a treatment often used to help people cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships.

How Does It Work?
Uses exercises proven to calm your mind and nervous system
Employs mindfulness to identify triggers and break the pattern of self-destructive behaviors

Helps you recognize and shift away from thought traps, or thinking errors
Gives you tools to assess feelings and perceived versus real threats
Helps you develop interpersonal skills so you can identify and communicate your needs with self-confidence
