What is DBT?

 

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is one of the most effective treatments for recognizing and changing behavior and thought patterns.

It focuses on skills development in 4 areas:  Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

It is a treatment often used to help people cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships.
